ENDIA brings a rising star!

Congratulations to ENDIA’s post doctoral research fellow, Dr Ki Wook Kim, for being awarded the Lindsey Baudinet Rising Star Award in Type 1 Diabetes Research by the Australian Diabetes Society.

This $20,000 award is to support early-career researchers pursuing research in type 1 diabetes.

Ki Wook will use this towards characterising the population of viruses that trigger islet autoimmunity and type 1 diabetes as part of his work with the ENDIA Study.
