Meg Viskovitch: “I have lived with the roller coaster of type 1 diabetes for over 30 years now. I was diagnosed when I was 4 years old.

I heard about the ENDIA study whilst I was pregnant, and I jumped at the chance to be involved in the hope that it will help the researchers discover if there are any environmental factors which may trigger type 1 diabetes.

The staff when we attend our appointments are always so friendly and thankful for our participation in the study.

Obviously, my daughter Leila has a little bit of an increased risk to develop type 1 diabetes.

At the end of the day, we don’t want any more kids getting type 1 diabetes.”
